Sweden and Finland’s applications for NATO membership have increased Turkiye’s NATO power, experts have pointed out.
In exchange for ratification, Turkiye has demanded that the two Nordic nations promise among other things to fight terrorism.
However, experts are warning that the definition of terrorism may not be the same between Turkiye and the two nordic nations.
