A new study has revealed that parents who tease their children or are condescending are likely to have their children become bullies or victims of such.
According to the research, increased understanding was important in dealing with children so that they do not become either bullies or victims.
It revealed that many bullies’ parents are combative, aggressive, punitive and dismissive.
The research, done in the US, Canada and Sweden, highlights on that the behaviour of parents can prevent teenagers from developing good relations with their peers.
In 2017, a study revealed that more than a sixth of all Swedish 15-year-olds experience bullying at least a few times a month.
