There were reports Friday of domestic clashes between United Kingdom Prime Minister hopeful, Boris Johnson and his girlfriend Carrie Symonds with neighbours saying they heard plates and glasses smashing during a ‘proper tear-up’ at the London flat .
The neighbours said Johnson, 55, and the front runner to succeed Theresa May at Downing Street, shouted unpalatable words in the fight with Symonds (31).
Symonds, the neighbours said, was heard yelling, “’get off me’ and ‘get out of my flat” at the Camberwell home she owns.
The row came hours after Johnson topped a poll of Tory MPs in his leadership battle, is believed to have started after he spilled red wine on Symonds.
A police official confirmed receiving a call from a concerned neighbour.
Johnson’s spokesperson declined to comment.
Ironically, Johnson is a strong advocate against domestic violence.
