‘Sweden has one of the worst attitudes to immigration in Europe’: study

The YouGov–Cambridge Globalism survey found that 49% of Swedes believe the net impact of immigration is negative.

In the survey, Sweden had the worst score while Britons turned to be more receptive and empathetic towards immigration.

The rise of the far-right in Sweden has helped bring out – and ride on – a wave of general dislike against immigrants who they accuse of not being real Swedes.

In a recent political party leaders debate, the leader of the extreme right-wing Sweden Democrats said on national television that all sexual offences were ‘imported crimes’ meaning that they are committed only by immigrants.
