Keanu Reeves is back as super assassin John Wick in “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum,” the last of the action thriller series.
The final installment of the series also stars Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, and Jerome Flynn, among others.
In the film, John Wick is on the run after killing a member of the international assassin’s guild. He thus becomes the target of hit men and women everywhere, with a 14 million-U.S.-dollar price tag on his head.
There are many things Reeves says he loves about the Wick character.
“For me to put the suit on is a great pleasure. I love the character. I love his will. I love his grief. I think it’s really for me, a kind of rich, deep. And I love his will just trying to survive. I love his facility. I love that he’s capable, and I like his sense of humor. I think he’s a good man,” said the actor.
Besides the complex character, Reeves also loves the film’s action sequences, which he says the film’s director Chad Stahelski has taken to another level.
“I mean I would say in traditional John Wick, not traditional, but like John Wick, there’s the knife fight, kind of classic, but a little more complexity. I think in terms of where Chad Stahelski, the director and visionary, took that action to the motorcycle sequence, and then it’s pure kind of unique,” said Reeves.
The film will officially open in North America on May 17.
