The flying chaos around Scandinavian airline SAS continues. A further 280 flights departing on Thursday have been cancelled due to the ongoing pilot strike, SAS announced in a press release.
The press release comes shortly after the announcement that SAS and the union met for mediation this morning. Approximately 20,000 travellers will be affected by the changes.
– Every cancelled departure is a failure and we, therefore, work to limit the number of cancellations as far as possible, says Karin Nyman, Communications Director at SAS.
“We are doing everything we can to limit the number of cancellations and information about the current traffic situation due to the pilot strike is being updated continuously.”, the airline wrote.
