US Aviation Authority FAA delegated parts of the 737 Max Model Safety Assessment to Boeing itself, according to the Seattle Times.
This was done so that Boeing would be done with the model in 2015 before their competitor Airbus launched its new aircraft model.
According to former Boeing engineers with whom Boeing has spoken, the analysis contained several shortcomings suspected of contributing to, among other things, the accident in Ethiopia.
A spokesman for Boeing announces that they do not want to comment on the information. DailySweden
