The beginning of next week will be characterised with warmth and sunshine due to storm Mats which is sweeping in from across Africa and all over Europe.

Meteorologists are saying that temperatures are going to rise up to 14 degrees at the beginning of next week, a much welcome development for freezing Swedes.

“It is like an engine that sweeps up the heat (from Africa)”, says Tora Tomasdottir a meteorologist af the weather institute Storm.

The heat will last until the middle of the week for most parts of the country but the south will retain warm temperatures during the Wednesday, while the northern parts will become mostly cloudy. DailySweden
