Spring could arrive in a week, snow to melt with record speed

We have good news. Meteorologists are reporting that they expect snow to melt faster than in previous years and spring could be here in a week’s time – at least in the areas at the bottom of southern Sweden according to a new weather forecast.

“The average temperature will be on the plus side for virtually the whole of Götaland and also southern parts of Svealand during the next few days,” says Ian Engblom, meteorologist at Foreca, to Aftonbladet.

He continues:

“There will be a period of slightly clearer weather in the beginning of next week. Then it can be minus degrees during the night in almost the whole country. But there is nothing to indicate that the night temperatures at the bottom of the south will be so low that the daily average temperature falls below zero.” DailySweden
